Re: Best Famous Truth Avoidance Quote

My personal favorite is a classic by Slick Willie himself, "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is." How do you top that?

Re: Best Famous Truth Avoidance Quote

I had to go with Clinton for the whole absurdity of it all. Belichick could have at least been a little bit more creative.

Re: Best Famous Truth Avoidance Quote

How about Bill Callahan calling the Raiders the "dumbest team in America." Truth: dumbest coach in America.

Mine too mike. How in the world do you top a President going in front of a committee and asking for the definition of "is" to be clarified?

Re: Best Famous Truth Avoidance Quote

I gave my vote to Richard Nixon .. I am old enough to remember ole "Tricky Dicky" .. Tough choice between Nixon and Clinton though. Clinton's gaffe being literally sexier than Nixon's if you will ..

Re: Best Famous Truth Avoidance Quote

Being a huge Mark McGwire fan from his rookie days on the Oakland A's. His repeated response of I'm not hear to talk about the past, set me off!

So is it my favorite or the best...I guess it is because it upset me so much.
