Re: bill maas' commentary
I think that he is a blowhard. I don't find him to be all that sharp of an announcer. Sometimes he sounds like he suffers from having not played with a helmet on...

Re: bill maas' commentary
I found him entertaining and colorful. It seemed to me that they got a lot of names correct and they actually seemed to remain fairly neutral between the two teams. I thought it was a pretty good broadcast.

Re: bill maas' commentary
Tell you what, I'll give you specifics. No Maas was insisting that penalties "were killing both clubs" as they had all year. He pointed to the Cards leading the league in peanlities per game with eleven and the Rams being up there with 8.
Well right there while he was babbling a graphics display came up which showed both teams with only three peanlities each into the 4th qtr. Did he recant? No.
I'm just not sure what the Team or its fans did to deserve him as an announcer.

Re: bill maas' commentary
Over and over he talks about how he is right and how the coaches or refs are "dead wrong"...very arrogant, very ignorant, but I do enjoy laughing at idiots like him so it helped keep me entertained. It just sucks that out of all the announcing teams Fox has, that we got stuck with him. :\
