BRING IT! BigRedMan is not invited. EVER!

Well, I'm here. And it appears that i've made a fool of myself, yet again. So, what a pick-up by the Dodgers gaining Manny Ramirez!

Of course, Boston didn't exactly hurt their chances getting Jason Bay!

It's a bit complicated, bigredman. Can we just leave it at that? I meant no offense by using your screen name in the title.........How about those Dodgers!

At first I didn't get it, but after three double martini's, I'm down. No offense taken about the screen name use. I admit that's what drew me to it originally, but after reading the posts in the thread, I knew it had nothing to do with me.

Dodgers needed something like the Manny acquisition. Not since the hoopla of the Brown signing (a bust), or Piazza and the "Gibson moment" has LA had anything really to get excited about.

I'm a Red Sox fan as well (being a casual fan of the MLB, I have my favorites in the National and American leagues). I think the trade was beneficial for both sides.

Thanks bigredman! And, to be honest, this was not supposed to be a thread about baseball. It was supposed to be something entirely different. But innocent. It just didn't work out the way i had hoped. (........92 bottles of beer on the wall....)
Anyway, I was surprised to hear you mention the Brown bust. I haven't heard that brought up in a long time. Still bothers me. I had such high hopes for that dude!
The Red Sox are cool. I, actually think the Rays could win that division this year. (It's a good story) But, i wouldn't mind Boston getting the wild card. Anybody but those DAMN YANKEES!
