Clan Pets
Since everyone is going crazy during the offseason, I decided to start a thread where everyone can post a pic of thier pets. Kind of a meet-the-other-part-of-the-family thing.
Here's a pic of our dog, Maggie. 65 pounds, 7 years old, and adopted last year from a no-kill shelter.

Re: Clan Pets
Actually, we've gone through a few fish trying to find types that the turtles won't eat. The two we have are a spotted talking catfish and a suckermouth catfish (plecostamus).
The python's name, by the way, is Monty (what else?).

Re: Clan Pets
No pix, sorry since I don't know how to post them, but we have a 90 lb German Shepherd named Zuka, and some of you old timers will know how I got that name....My all-time favorite movie is Grease and John Travolta played the character of Danny Zuko, so I just changed the "o" to an "a" and there you have it, the best dog ever!!!! ZUKA!!!!!

Jethro; Minature Beagle
As you can tell, he loves his ball and his food bowl.
We have put him on diet dog food, so he has lost a few pounds since this photo.

Re: Clan Pets
I have two dogs. Loki is a dalmation/hound mix, 70 pounds, white with black spots. He is named after the Norse god of fire and mischief. He is not named after the angel of death, like in dogma. I got him from the shelter. He was labeled "destructive" and he was for a while, but he is totally cool and laid back now.
Lee is my other dog. He is a pit mix, about 40 lbs, long and leggy, extremely athletic, with a pretty brindle coat. He is a mix of sweet and hard headed. Loves kids, loves people, great with Loki, but not so good around strange dogs. I fostered Lee for the longest time and finally accepted that he was going to be mine. Pits are not for everyone. They are complicated and strong willed. Lee tests my abilities often.
I do recommend adopting dogs and cats since there are so many out there without homes. I work with an organization called HART which is a no kill organization. I do their accounting and I'll help out on adoption days sometimes. Here is their website if anyone is interested in taking a look.www.HART90.org
I also have fish...goldfish and a beta in a little tank, and a big marine tank with hippo tangs, a unicorn tang, a clown, a spotted hawk, a bird wrasse, a couple of dwarf angels, and a bunch of non fish critters like sea cucumbers, brittle stars, urchins and snails.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
