Getting a Basset hound in about 8-10 weeks. Would like some help naming him from my all my Clan buds.

You'll have to post a picture for us when you get the new pup.

Wow, its been a very long time since I posted. I tried posting the images of my 2 cats but it didn't work. We have an orange one that we adopted named Tiger and a black one named Nightmare. Nightmare is truly a nightmare to Tiger.

The Fam & I have two Pit Bull mixes. A chocolate female named Zoe and a cocoa-khaki female named Ambidextrous-Deux (long story). We call her Amber.

Zoe is Pit & Lab, while Amber is American Staffordshire & Shepard. Both are EXTREMELY well mannered and have both grown up alongside my two children. Played Ponies and dress-up with my Daughter. Protective of the fence-line, but big sweeties in the house. Both are spayed, licensed and registered because we believe in responsible pet ownership.

I understand some people's opinion with regard to this breed of dog. However, my wife and I both grew up with them and believe that environment and the attitude of the owners plays a central part in the temperament of the animal. Violent dogs that commit violent acts are indicting their owners as much as themselves.

Sorry, I'm just used to defending our pets out of hand. Don't mean to get all defensive-like, just a conditioned response, I guess.

Oh, and my son has a Hamster named Turbo. So fat he can't even get in the wheel. And he bites, but only me.

Yeah, like an AmStaff is a dangerous dog. Break in our house and Maggie would lick you to death, or bruise your shins from wagging her tail. Bet yours are the same way...

Yeah, sounds familiar. They make a lot of noise, which is about all the "guard dog" we get out of them. Big Sweeties.

The only Clan Pet that comes to mind at the moment is Traci Lords. I'm not sure why that is. There seem to be so many pets. Lodi always seemed a bane to Thor though.
