You do know that "wise old mage" Nick is a youngster still in college, right? Ian McKellan might just be a stretch, although maybe all the non-stop battles here at ClanRam have taken their toll.

I don't know, maybe it's prejudiced by my memories of college (and WV's reputation), but I picture Nick as Jeff Spicoli (late in the movie, when he's got his act together answering questions by Mr. Hand in order to graduate).
