Classic Songs That Need To Be Retired

The following is a list of great classic songs that I've heard so many times that I really never need to hear them again:

Hey Jude - The Beatles
Satisfaction - The Rolling Stones
Stairway to Heaven - Led Zepplin
We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions - Queen (unless its at a sporting event)
Hotel California - The Eagles
Piano Man - Billy Joel (how sick of that song must he be by now?)
You Really Got Me - The Kinks (and the Van Halen version)

Anything from 1960 or earlier just needs to go off the radio.

Maybe not quite a classic yet but it changed the face of Hip Hop forever. I love that freaking song I listen to it before I go snow boarding or skateboarding pumps me up. Although Chris Rocks-Straight outta LoCash from the movie CB4 is just as good.

Give Me Back My Bullets by Skynrd. Free Bird is getting close, as is Rock and Roll Part II, by Gary Glitter.

Re: Classic Songs That Need To Be Retired

Are you crazy on the gary Glitter song? That's the TD song!

There is a station in Tulsa that plays Peter Frampton everytime I hear the radio.

Do You Feel Like I Do by Frampton needs to go.

Also Black Betty, Jackie Blue and Don't Worry, be Happy.
