Re: Computer Games
I loved Counter-Strike when it was the spin off of of Half-Life, but I didn't like the changes they made around the time of Condition Zero. I think it was the 1.5 update where I decided to quit.

In 1.6 they have two new guns and a shield (Not Popular at all by anyone because it covers the whole body[Minus Feet] and can't be shot through.

Re: Computer Games
Yeah, the shield was one of the big reasons I dropped CS. I usually played on a 24/7 militia server and was a regular in the top 15, though I could never crack the top ten. I love that map from both perspectives. Assault is a bit one sided unless you've got guys who really know how to work together.

Re: Computer Games
Right about the assault, I was playing earlier today for about an hour as a CT on assault, and basically we'd just storm the inside from all areas, me and some guy had vents, 2 guys had front and 2 more got the back, We didn't lose a single round.

The best is rushing as a terrorist and hiding behind that gate under the bridge out front. As long as it hasn't been done and the CTs aren't expecting it, you can get a couple of nice kills from there.
For some reason as a CT, I usually went front door or vent. I rarely chose to go through the back, probably because the idea of someone waiting on those boxes to the left as you'd come in didn't appeal to me.

Re: Computer Games
My highest level hero was a Level 16 Science/Blaster named "Blue Chimera." I generally just joined teams on a day-to-day basis.
Some of my other heroes were named"AvengerRam" (of course), "Dark Charybdis," "Stealth Talon," "Atomic Oriole" and "Sonic Macaw."
I also had some "joke" characters such as "Slick Litigator," "Mr. Whackadoo," and "SuperShaq."
