ok well i have this old dell that i havent used in about 2 or 3 years. it has windows xp, and it wasnt working at first and i did the restart point thing. well i log on and the only thing that shows up is my backround. no start menu, no icons, no anything. so if anyone has anything i can do, please help!

ok i ended up reformatting the harddrive, and i did everything, but am having torublw connecting to the internet, i have a router and a modem, can anyone help?

I could probably help you out, but it would be better to do this with instant messaging on Yahoo or something...

Did you try the set-up wizard?

Do you have a software disc from your ISP?

Did Sam already get you where you need to go?

hey sam, thanks for your help the other day but i downloaded another driver earlier today and found out it was needed to work, it was a networking driver so yeah, thankd for everything!
