Farewell Harry
My father died yesterday afternoon. Although he wasn't the nicest of men, he unfortunately died alone in a hospital bed. His wife (my step mother) had the Doctors remove him from life support (Without notifying his children) and promptly left the hospital. It's a sad thing. I wasn't all that close to my father. However, he really didn't deserve to die alone.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!

Re: Farewell Harry
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Truth. Your stepmonster sounds like a real charmer.
Hopefully, your dad is in a better place now and maybe at some point in the future, you will learn from him, which will enable you to be a better father to your own kids. I am blessed to have a fantastic dad who i remain close with to this day.

Re: Farewell Harry
Hope you can remember the good stuff and cherish them. I am lucky enough to still have my dad and am getting closer to him as time goes on. He has his faults, but then so do I and it is only part of what makes us who we are as we try to improve ourselves.

Sorry for your loss.

Re: Farewell Harry
Sorry to hear about that, man. Life can be damn hard, but with any experience there can be some good out of it. So just try to be positive and try to have your chin up. Obviously its easier said than done, but its the best advice for any loss like that. Again, so sorry to hear that.
