Re: Favorite Beer
Lager beer:-
Tsingtao. From Laoshan in China. Beautiful light beer made with pure spring water.
Real beer:-
Adnams Fishermans. Takes some beating. Especially on a bitterly cold day when you are safe inside a cosy pub with a real log fire.

Re: Favorite Beer
Samuel Adams Brewery makes some really great beers. I think they have over 25 different types from a light ale, all the way to the Utopias (which I really want to try!).
For everyday drinking, I prefer Budweiser Select. A light beer, not filling, but more robust than many 'full-bodied' beers. Good flavor, and not expensive.
I'll be drinking that a lot during the season, I'm sure. The Sam Adams will be saved for the playoffs.Super Bowl Champions 2013!

Re: Favorite Beer
My favorites are Corona (w/ lime), Rolling Rock, and Yuengling when I can get my hands on it.
I've heard a lot of good things about their seasonal stuff, so maybe I'll try some out. I'm not really the kind of guy who goes too far from the type of beer he likes. The last thing I want to do is have five bottles of something I don't like wasting away in my fridge, but I think I've just heard too much good opinion on Sam Adams to ignore it any longer.

Re: Favorite Beer
Its not. I figured I'd add my favorite beverage since I don't drink, and then put what looks like would be my favorite beer.

Thomas Kemper root beer!
Seriously. Like 16, I don't 'drink'. Never have, probably never will. In that respect, I'm abstinent. I don't mean it as a merit, just a fact. Cheers!

Re: Favorite Beer
My favorite beer/malt liquor has to be Colt 45. It is decent tasting, cheap and gives you a quick buzz to make you forget times like Eli Manning lighting up our porous secondary.

Favorite: FREE and COLD.
lol
Ok, Shiner Bock is good for one or two. A little heavy but when cold it's great. On the lake, a light Tecate. Watching the game, Coors Light. Recently, Henieken came out with a Light version that I really like.

Yea, I'm with RR on this one. Not really an alcohol type of guy, so my favorite beer would have to be a ice cold frosty mug of......

Re: Favorite Beer
It has to be Guiness no doubt about it. It also has to be ice cold. When it is really hot though I will often switch to Hefe Weizen, Bjs brewery and Pyramid being the best.

Re: Favorite Beer
Oh man, love beer, and likes to try out different ones, when possible! A few favorites: I'll have to say Kilkenny, Murphy Red, Guiness, Caffreys, John Smith Smooth and Newcastle Brown Ale. But likes a lot of the beers from Belgium and Germany as well, and Denmark has a lot of great beer from the smaller breweries. Mmm, getting thirsty!
