Re: Football movies
So many great football movies that each have a unique appeal, message and point of emphesis. It's going to be hard to pick the best, at least for me.

Re: Football movies
The best has to be remember the titans, followed by friday night lights and invincible. I've still yet to see Gridiron gangs even though i have it on dvd

Re: Football movies
All the movies I can think of have been mentioned already. Oh wait a minute I think I have one?
JAWS!
If I remember correctly there were a couple of kids throwing a football around on the beach before the big attack.

Re: Football movies
Does "Going Greek" count? I catch a football in that movie! totally make a great play 'Avery' style and streak down the sideline. its about a blue chip HS recruit that blows his knee so Notre Dame drops his scholarship. He ends up at a regular college playing flag football for his frat house.

Re: Football movies
Thank you KoaKoi??

I love it too Randy, and I'm a Notre Dame hater.
If someone claimed this was the greatest football movie ever, I'd have a hard time disputing it. And like you, no matter how hard I try, I can't stop from crying at the end. As a control freak, it's not a good feeling.
