    Forum Rep

I always saw that this existed. I never looked at it however. Earlier, I got "rep" in the J-Mac topic. I saw that and looked into my "rep" stuff.

My question is..How do I give out "rep" when I see a great post?? Is it the same as "liking" a post. If so, then this might have been a really stupid question.

    Thanks guys..

"Rep" and "Like" are two different things. "Like" is reflected on the actual post, "Rep" points add up to determin Rep Power. If you want to add to someone's Rep, click on the six pointed star at the bottom of the post. Feel free to test out the procedure on this post.

Any chance a change can be made to the rep system? I am an occasional rep giver, but it seems the posters that I rep are pretty much an elite group, so I get the "you must spread it around" comment frequently. I was thinking that a time limit could be added so if I don't give out any rep for two weeks, it shouldn't matter who I try to give it to.

And while they're at it, mind of they make "Likes" count for a fraction of rep points?

Terry, send Dez an PM. Only the Grand Poobah can pull the string on the changes you're looking for.

I believe the green bars are a visual representation of your total reputation points. The bigger the bar, the more reputation points you've received as feedback to your posts.

The light green and dark green are okay, but if they turn brown, you should see your doctor.

I have a question then why do I have one more green bar than flip when we have the same rep power? I have been trying to figure that out and I don't know what it could be.

    Re: Forum Rep

Thanks for the quick and accurate info guys. Good to know that people gave me REP on some posts. It was cool to look back at what posts I got it on. I have been away on cruise the last 5 days, so I haven't been on the forum/this post since then....
