Doesn't have to be a movie that was funny throughout, or even a good movie necessarily... just a scene that had you in stitches.

If you're talking about the best in movie history, you must be talkin about the dancing loaves of bread scene from Gold Rush with Charlie Chaplin.



Or, the feeding machine scene in Modern Times.

The funniest scene in movie history was the feeding machine scene in my opinion.

I like the scene in Star Trek: Insurrection where Data overhears a conversation between Dr. Crusher and Deanna Troi, then he proceeds to ask Worf (Michael Dorn) if he noticed his breasts getting firmer. If you didn't see it, you wouldn't get it.
Second place: Meg Ryan, in When Harry Met Sally..."YES YES YES" then the "I'll have what she's having..."

I'm torn. I have it narrowed down to the panty raid in Revenge of the Nerds, the church service on Blazing Saddles (people stampeded and cattle raped), and a memorable scene at the Blue Oyster on the first Police Academy. I just don't think I can choose a clear winner of the three.

The funniest scene I ever saw in a movie was Richard Pryor's rendition of a man with crabs in, "Here and Now."

A close second would be Richard Pryor's benefit boxing match with Muhammed Ali in "Live in Concert".

I could go on and on with Richard's standup comedies, but I won't.

Oh boy, I knew someone would resort to a fart scene.....LOL

If we're gonna go there, why not the campfire scene in Blazing Saddles. I know I have used that movie once already, but it's a classic. It cannot be helped.


On a side note, I just happenedto remember a scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. A man is going down the street, yelling, "Bring out your dead!". The funniest line in that scene was the man insisting that, "It's just a flesh wound!"

I'm not even gonna try to decide on a favorite. It's torture.
