Holy eclectic musical taste, Batman! But I'm not complaining, I'm pretty much the same way.

In no particular order...
System of a Down
Nirvana [no "grunge" or "goth," thank you]
Static-X
R.E.M.
Elliott Smith
Those would be my all time favorites, as of now, but there are a lot of different CDs going through rotation that I'm starting to get into... Atmosphere, Aesop Rock, The Roots, Serart, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, and Billy Bragg and Wilco.

Re: Give me your top 5
Hmm, what is this decade that you speak of...the "60's". I believe I read about them in one of the historical archives, but I have no first-hand knowledge. Maybe one of you elders can inform us. :redface:1960s:
I mean, I thought life began in the 70's. Weren't we all just amoebas before then?"Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

Re: Give me your top 5
Well, I was born in 1968, so I don't remember the 60s music when it was first released, but my earliest memories of popular music are my parents playing Simon & Garfunkle when I was a kid.

At that time were you crossing a bridge over troubled water on your way to Scarborough Fair?

Re: Give me your top 5
Nothing wrong with youth, brother. Hang on to it while you got it. We lose a little bit of it every day....except of course for Michael Jackson. Oh that's not right. Lord, I apologize for that, and be with the starving pygmys in New Guinea, amen.
