Global Warming my foot!

20 Degrees, 2 1/2" of sleet on top of freezing rain, and anywhere from 4-12" of snow coming tonight.

Give me 90 degree weather anyday.

Worst part of all, about half of the schools were without power, heat, and phone service today, and the so-called Administrator REFUSED to cancel classes. This is in a town where only about 7-8% of the students are able to ride the bus.

I bet this so-called administrator is a whiners fan, too.

So, for those of you who are affected by this storm, how is it for you?

I am AlphaRam and I approve of this storm.

Storm went south of us for a change, but brought in the cold air. Went from 60 degrees to 7 degree over night. Cold as a polor bear's a** sitting on a cooler full of bud light here.

We got around 6" of snow after getting sleet and freezing rain.

11 inches of heavy wet snow on top of the ice here. Makes for FUN driving.

Well, I would have referred to a different part of my anatomy, however the forum rules clearly specify that such things are not allowed. And, since I have been given the trust of the Big Guy, I have to do my best to be good.

But, in the past few days, I have had my homemade steak tacos (think one pound of meat, potatoes, tomatoes, garlic, and 5 jalepenos, along with other good stuff), red beans and rice (think 5 more peppers, crushed red pepper, and ground cayenne pepper, along with other good stuff), and this morning, Sami and I ate chorizo and egg tacos for breakfast (with jalepeno tobasco for some extra kick!). So, as you can see, I contribute to global warming, due to the foods I eat...:)

I just watched a documentary on the History channel called Little Ice Age; Big Chill, which spoke of a period between the 16th and 19th centuries that caused the earth to cool about 4 degrees, with severe weather shifts in northern Europe that killed millions due to extreme temperature and desease. The earth's weather is cyclical. We were in a warming trend before the 15th century, and we are in another now. It has nothing to do with hair spray.
