hamburger vs cheeseburger
Do you eat your burgers with or without cheese.
If you use cheese, please specify the type.

At home, we keep Kosher, so no Cheeseburgers for me!
Outside the house, give me a mushroom swiss burger!

Re: hamburger vs cheeseburger
Av, given the kosher nature of your homestead, does that mean when you go to the local deli you cut loose and have roast beef with mayo on white bread with a glass of milk?

Re: hamburger vs cheeseburger
Ugh! No. I'll tell you what I order, because its always the same from two choices:
1. Turkey and chopped liver (w/cole slaw) on a toasted sesame bagel; or
2. Hot brisket sandwich on a kaiser roll with spicy mustard.
(half sours on the side)
and... of course...
Dr. Brown's Black Cherry Soda
Man, I'm getting hungry.

Re: hamburger vs cheeseburger
Cheese-Burgers are good.
The Type of Cheese I like on them is Melted American Cheese.
Stuff I wouldn't mind on them is: Hotsauce, Ketchup, Lettuce. Of Course, having Ketchup and Hotsauce apart.

Re: hamburger vs cheeseburger
Extra rare, with cheddar or REAL American cheese (NOT the American slices, the white deli variety found mostly in the northeast), lots of bacon, ketchup, lettuce, pickles, mushrooms, grilled onions saturating a kaiser roll. No mayo!
Depending on situation, either with a good pilsner beer or a name brand cola or unsweetened iced tea with lemon.

Isn't ironic that the kosher ground beef is much bloodier than the non-kosher variety? (Based on my experience with Chicago-based Kosher butchers)

If you ever feel like FedExing one to me feel free

Re: hamburger vs cheeseburger
Cheeseburger made with English (fit to crawl away on its own) stilton or failing that any blue cheese. Onions, Mushrooms (chopped portobello), and lots of well done bacon.
Although I wouldn't say no to cowboyhaters version either.
And now I am getting hungry..............

I could go for one of those right now, the Jalapinos make it sound all the better.
