Have you ever dreamed about something that was on TV while you were asleep?

The other night, I had a dream that I died from lupus (I do have systemic lupus). Anyway, I was telling my wife about it the next day. She told me that she had been watching Entertainment Tonight and one of Anna Nichole Smith's friends has thought she had died of lupus. I guess I keyed in on that in my sleep and my mind took it from there.

To keep such dreams from occuring in the future, I now only allow my wife to watch porn when I am asleep.

Recently if I've been watching TV/a movie, playing a video game, or reading before bed, I end up with bizarre dreams. It usually ends up with me fighting stuff. A list of some of my opponents from various dreams:

2 Centaurs
a Vampiress
The Predator
The Egyptian diety Ra who transformed into
Muhammed Ali

I try to stay away from that kind of stuff before bedtime. Funny, I never had this problem when I was a kid :\

I had a college roommate who would always fall asleep with CNN Headline News (back when the news repeated itself EVERY 30 minutes) on the TV. So during an 8-hour sleep night, I'd have the same news run through my brain 16 times. Oddly enough, the next morning there was no need to read the newspaper; I knew it all by heart.
