How many vegetarians on the board?

I only eat red meat once or twice a year (its been about a year, i am due for my annual corn beef, tongue and pastrami triple meat platter from katz's deli in new york), but i eat fish almost every day and also eat plenty of chicken and turkey pastrami.

What about the rest of you guys and gals?

I spent a year as a pre-teen as a (fish eating) vegetarian. Why? Because I wanted to prove I could (and because my grandfather was one).

Having lived in Texas for a while, I can verify that veggies are an accepted food for humans in Texas. Here's some examples:

Corn: Corn on the cob is OK if it is grilled, smothered in butter, and served with barbecued meat.

Potatoes: Spuds are OK if fried with onions.

Onions: OK

Mushrooms (the legal kind): OK if served with steak, mandatory if you hunt for morels.

Beans: Baked beans are OK at a barbecue. Refried beans (frejoles) are OK when eating Mexican food. Ranch style (made with mollasses and whiskey) are OK. Farting after eating beans is only allowed south of a Midland to Waco line.

Greens: OK

Okra: OK only if fried!

Chilies: Mandatory!!!!
