Hey Pang.Have your ever heard of Stephen R Donaldson and have you read anything by him.
Hes over looked and underrated,But hes up the with Tolkien and Lewis.
Hes an awesome Auther, and I always look forward to his stuff.
He writes in the vein of Tolkien and Lewis, but much more gritty,Hes written a series call Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever. If you havent read please give it a try.

Re: J.R.R Tolkien or C.S Lewis
Good call psycho.
I read the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant a long time ago when I was in my teens, and to be honest didn't really get on with it very well. I then left it for a couple of years and went back to it and enjoyed it much more, reading the whole series.
I notice he's published a follow up recently, have you read it, and have you also read any of his other stuff that I've noticed on the book shelves here?
Other stuff that I was reading at the same time, was the Pliocene epoch by a guy called Julian May and I always thought they were good for a second read.

I havent read Julian May but will give it a shot.
The follow up trilogy for Thomas Covenant is very very hard to get right now, I've had it on order for a month, but no call yet.
I just finished readin the guns of the south by Harry Turtledove. Its an alternate history thing.
A group of men go back in time from 2010 to 1962
during the American Civil War,and they bring along crate loads of AK47 rifles and give them to General Robert E Lee.My heart beats crazy and my blood runs wild

I have some great fantasy stories but they all end up with me alone with Kelly Clarkson.
