Okay, here's a topic that shouldn't be too controversial.

What types of pets do you have?

We have a dog (toy poodle), a snake (ball python) and five turtles (two red-eared sliders, one red-bellied turtle, one map turtle, and one ornate wood turtle).

We have a German Shepherd named Zuka and a goat named Ralph. Zuka was named after my favorite movie which is Grease and John Travolta played Danny Zuko, so I just changed it to the female version and as for Ralph our goat, I really can’t explain why we own a goat but I do know it is very true, they do eat anything and everything and we have been tempted to paint his horns blue and gold and be our RAM mascot.

I used to have two hermit crabs that I named Lucy and Ethel, but they committed suicide within one day of each other. Very devestating! LOL

We used to have a cat named Samson. This fat joker was HUGE!!! Something like 22 pounds or so. But, as with most morbidly obese creatures, Samson developed health problems and had to be put down.

Somewhere now Samson is up in Kitty Heaven, just playing and running around............who am I kidding, that porker won't run anywhere!

I hope this isnt a painful question, but how exactly does a crab commit suicide?

ps we have a 16 year old bichon frise named Milhaus. He is on an adult dose of prozac to control his Master of the Universe Syndrome. He is actually the subject of a published study by the behavior science department at the university of georgia. Long story.

No GC, that isn't a painful question and actually one that I have yet to figure out.....but they died within one day of each other and I assumed it was a suicide pact.

If only they could have talked more maybe I could have helped in some way!!! LOL

Maybe it was something they ate. Do hermit crabs eat crabmeat cocktail? What about king crab legs? I assume no rope was found at the scene?

Have a miniature pincher named RAMsey

AND GET THIS...We have a goldfish (Goldie) that I won a fair 7...yes 7...years ago. I have never seen nor heard of a gold fish living this long. And it lives on a small glass bowl in my daughters bathroom. Crazy crap man.

Actually, my crabs (for some reason that just doesn't sound right) but anyway, my crabs Lucy and Ethel lived a life of luxury. They were kept in an aquarium type tank with sand and I bought all the necessary accomodations....Little palm trees, little coconut huts for sleeping quarters, little trampolines for exercise.

Little crabby lifes cut so short and they just never appreciated what they actually had. I just don't get it.

PS: You guys are very funny!!!! I always love the sense of humor in this place!!!
