Back on topic, my bravery or prognostication abilities notwithstanding, the three Tuns in Biddenham Bedfordshire is good, although a bit 'American werewolf in London' for some.
In Durham my hometown, it would have to be the Victoria, which follows it's Victorian theme all the way to the cash register which still works in pounds shillings and pence, has an open fire, a great Landlord and fantastic beer.
It also happens to have a picture of my late Grandfather above his favourite spot at the bar.
