It probably will come as no surprise, given the Book of SpiralHorns, that I am a big LOTR fan. I agree that they did a better job of translating a classic book to the screen than any previous film.
I am also a HUGE fan of the classic epics like the Illiad. I have not seen Troy because I have heard that, while it is entertaining, it is hardly true to the classic text (for example, the Gods play no part in the movie, while their role is paramount in the book).
I am looking forward to King Aurther this summer. I too heard Troy doesn't do the story justice.
Really? I didn't think it looked that good.Quote:

The LOTR movies are three of the few movies I can watch over and over.

My 6 year old daughter loves them. Next hallowenn (my favorite holiday) she wants to be a dark rider
Interesting choice, a dark rider over, perhaps, an elf of some sort. Sounds like you'll have a fun time making a Halloween costume! Or do they sell youth Dark Rider costumes?Quote:

I always go all out for Halloween, and I don't sell anything ;-)
My daughter did win last years city wide costume contest (witch) and expect the same this year :-) scarier the better *LOL*
