Which one words tends to stir up the masses more than any other?
After that last thread, I'd have to say the word satire is pretty polarizing.
By the way, what does satire mean anyway?
sat·ire n.
- A literary work in which human vice or folly is attacked through irony, derision, or wit.
- The branch of literature constituting such works.
- Irony, sarcasm, or caustic wit used to attack or expose folly, vice, or stupidity.
Patriots? Polarizing? Here? I wanna know who is on the Patriot end of this polarization!! LOL
Oh, that's a heck of a point. That would have to be one empty pole on the Pats end. Nice catch, Mike.Quote:

I say Martz
The problem with this definition is that some people hide behind it. I am not saying that AR is, just that some do. They come out and make derogatory statements against people that don’t believe as they do. Again, not saying that AR is, just that some do. And then when some people come back and comment, people like that say that they were just being sarcastic.Quote:

I could not agree more. Some people (Not Mods) are warning others that they could be kicked out of here for using the same type of satire once as what I have seen posted here several times over the last month. I am not saying its AR's satire. Do you think that it’s fair for one person to respond to several instances of satire with satire and then have some people jump him because to them the reversal of the satire is not funny? Even though their satire may have not been funny to others here.Quote:
