Re: mothers day gifts

My wife's gift is not exactly original (pair of earrings).

Some good ideas (apart from obvious flowers and candy):

Gift certificate for spa treatment

Nice picture frame w/good pics of your kids (if you really want to do this one right, and you don't mind spending some $, go with one of these new digital picture frames)

Something sentimental (for example, one year I bought my wife a blown-glass globe and told her that I was living up to my promise to "give her the world" - you may commence "awwwwwww!"s now).

Nothing says "Happy Mother's Day!" like a subscription to Martha Stewart's magazine....

Re: mothers day gifts

I gave my wife a copy of this article. It's a little old but the material is still very relevant. If she takes it to heart maybe she'll get something next year.

RFTID, that is a great guide. Thank you for sharing that for the benefit of everyone.

Here's another great gift for mom:

Re: mothers day gifts

i decided to go with the pink rams hat, flowers, perfume and most importantly, a day where i did most of the heavy lifting with the kids (i even changed diapers twice, increasing my total diaper changes for the year to 5).
