My 1000th Post.....

.....and I think I might have a concussion.

Since the car wash was open, I figured the temperature must be above 32 degrees. So I pulled into the car wash to rinse the salt off of my vehicle. Since I figured that a car wash would NOT be open at temperatures below freezing, I didn't see the ice as I was spraying my car. I fell and I have a huge knot on the back of my head. My senses feel a little dulled. I may swing by the hospital when the wife gets home if I cannot find an on-line CT scan to do through a web cam, or something.

I don't feel any blood back there, but the room doesn't seem as bright as usual.

As long as it only the room which doesn't seem so bright.

But then washing the car when the temperature is hovering abot freezing isn't so bright either?

Just back from the ER - if you cut a softball in half and glued it on the back of my head, that is the size of the knot. A day or two away from work and bedrest were the prescription. They sure do CT scans fast these days.

Bottom line: to the relief of most of you, I had my head examined and am deemed OK.

Don't trust the doctor's word. They are guessing most of the time.

Sounds like the knot I had on my face when I tried to stop a bad hop grounder at first base with my eye and broke the eye socket....:x

As for being deemed okay.... if they thought you were okay then it must have been an improvement?!?:\

It is snowing today. The doctor made me promise that I would not leave the house if it snowed. I wonder if he meant for the rest of my life when it snows?

Haha, I feel like we're all in the airplane club or whatever. They have this really fancy place to stay in the airports while you have to wait, I was there once, it was lovely. Congrats Alpha!
