Hey, did you see the South Park where everything was conversed in PM format?

Well GOAT, as a matter of fact she does have to be a smartalec but there is a twist to it. It's just her nature. She means nothing by it. She's actually a great person and someone who has a big and kind heart. Actually GOAT, getting sarcasm from Utter is her way of saying she actually thinks your cool and that you can take it.

Re: My new found interest
I think people are looking too far into his poems
"The new city contemplating a condemnation,
The bird of prey offers itself to the heavens.
After victory pardon to the captives,
Cremona and Mantua will have suffered great evils."
Now would that have made sense to any of you if you hadn't read all of the explinations?
It's like the Stairway to Heaven backwards message. You don't hear anything until it's explained.
I used to find Nostradamus interesting but these are all too general. Most of his poems are just about a general fire or a war, they dont' go into specifics and say it outright.Last edited by Milan; -05-08-2006 at 05:49 PM.

I dunno, I remember one of his early prognostications was predicting a king would be killed in a joust, and it was pretty specific.

1. Nostradomus
2. David Copperfield
3. David Blaine
4. Harry Houdini
They're all the same.....smoke and mirrors, and misdirection.
And yes, I know Nostradamus wasn't a magician. My point is the presentation of these artists is much different than the reality behind it."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

Hey, I had Barbero to Show Saturday, not to win. I missed it by two places but that's as close as Hister isn't it?

Wasn't it the Tragically Hip that had a song titled
"New Orleans is Sinking" in 1997?
Did they predict the future?

Re: My new found interest
I also predict that 16 will average at least one post a day for the entire year.....give or take a few....that aren't very relevant....that have no meaning sometimes....that aren't on topic but some may be but some won't but some will be close but not quite but almost.
We all know that he won't "accessorize" so I won't go there.
