My new/old car

I finally broke and decided to buy myself a hobby. Last week I purchased a 1976 Corvette. I plan a couple year restoration on the car with a major paint job next summer. The car is very sound and has only 17,000 on a rebuilt 383 stroker. A paint job and a few interior replacements and the car will be cherry.

Bet you can't guess what color I am painting it. Metallic Rams blue!!

I'm pumped! Heading out now for a ride around the lake.

Anybody else into some of the old classics?

Re: My new/old car

I have a 1996 Tomos Targa LX and I have like 5 months till I can ride it and it needs a new paint job, new back tire, and then some unnecesary upgrades if you know what I mean.

That is a sick looking car, I'm into the classics more than the new ones.

Re: My new/old car

Jason, you are going to have the women of the great white north chasing you around like brad pitt when you are crusing in that new vehicle. Nadine better make sure that she watches out carefully for you!

ramming speed to all,
