My Thoughts Are With You Guys In the Midwest

For those of you facing the horrible onslaught of tornado's up and down the midwest, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you deal with this terrifying situation.

It isn't terrifying unless the trnado is louder than the tornado sirens.

Unfortunately, our storms are moving east and Joplin will get them. We had a small tornado hit about 12-14 miles from us this evening. It threw a couple of semi-trucks around and other minor damage. Fortunately, nobody was hurt.

You and your family were the first ones I thought of Jack because you've been right in the crosshairs. I'm glad to hear you're all okay. I'm hoping the same for everybody else, especially those in Missouri, where things do not look good right now.

I used to live in Missouri, and knew a couple of people in Joplin. Stuff scared me when it happened, but they are alright. My prayers are with everyone that were affected this last week. Man the world gets crazier by the day, parts of humanity is getting worse, climate is getting worse, and storms are getting worse and more random. Just this year the Japan Earthquake, deadly Hurricane that barely missed the east coast, and ridiculous amounts of tornadoes. Prayers, Peace and Love to and with everyone.

Unfortunately, there is a 3 year old boy that is missing from Piedmont, OK. They have expanded the search for him to a couple of more counties. He was torn from his mother's arms during the tornado. His mom and older sister are in critical condition. His 15 month old brother died today. Such a horrible tragedy.

All together, 10 people dead in Oklahoma after yesterday.

I am starting to research the building of a tornado shelter in my backyard. The tornadoes seem to be more numerous and more powerful than in years past. So many homes are completely wiped off of their foundations and slabs.

Such tragedy makes me appreciate how lucky I am to be not in the middle of natural disasters.
Though I feel a very strong earthquake in California might get us someday...

Unfortunately, the 3 year old was found dead. The tornado threw him into a lake and I think he drowned.
