I think the superfan coverage will be free for me when I sign up so I will give it a try. Do you need a HD tv to see the difference with HD?

Another great feature of Superfan is the ability to stream all games on-line if you're away from home.

I could not live without the NFL Package, no way. Worth every penny.

YEP! No more of me having to call Jerr if he is working. I can yell my *Go Rammies* , without him having to hear it.

Just so it is mentioned, you need to have a HD compatable TV in order to get the new receiver and dish. You also need a cell that can down load VCast.

    Well worth the money!

YES! And ask for a free receiver also. We may have gotten one because we are premiem members with 6 receivers in the house, but we have been long time customers.

    Ask, and bargain!

So I should ask for a free HD tv as part of the deal? That sounds too good to be true.

I had direct tv for years but they would not give me any upgraded equipment since I was an established customer. I am sure I will get plenty of goodies and free stuff now that I have left them. Sometimes you have to play the system to get the best deal.

Hey blitz, I just got direct tv just 3 days ago ( converted from Dish network) I got a free HD DVR but I had to pay $99 dollars up front because I needed another dvr for the kids. The lady on the phone gave me free hd for 6 months after the promo of 4 months of free programing with the ticket in order to offset the $99 dollars. It takes some getting use to but I think its all worth it than going to the bar were drunks cherr for the team of the month (nevermind that the drunk fools can't name three players of there teams but thats another story)

Not for a TV silly, but a receiver.

Call Dish Network and get a quote, then call Directv and tell them you're going to go with whoever gives you the best deal.

    They'll take care of you.

I hear ya about the bar scene. it gets expensive and there are plenty of vocal fans. The problem with VA is they never play the Rams games.

It will be nice to be able to watch from the couch again.

I could do that mike... do you think that I can get a free hd tv out of the deal?

Are HDs more expensive than a regular tv? I have not bought one in a while.

I don't think you'll be able to get an HD TV, but they'll give you everything else for practically nothing if you sign up for a two year deal. My sister just switched from Dish to Directv and playing both sides against each other was able to get the NFL Package for free along with all the equipment for HD and DVR. The catch was she signed up for the top tier package.

As far as TV's, it's all pretty much HD now as all programming will soon be required to go HD. You can get a good HD TV for relatively cheap these days.

    Re: nfl ticket

I made the call and they are coming to set it back up on the 11th. I am a happy camper. I have missed the NFL ticket in a big way.

Hopefully the Eagles game is shown on regular tv this week so that I can see the game.

Yes I am sure it is on NFL Ticket since that is what the ticket does best, but I will not have my equipment set up in time to use it this week.
