The One and ONLY off-season boredom relieving 80's music thread!

I thought it might be fun to do some headbanging instead of banging our heads in frustration, so here goes:

A lot of you know I used to be a nightclub DJ, and a lot of you know I love my 80's metal. Well, here's your chance to educate me and the rest of the Clan on 80's heavy metal.

Everyone knows about the 'biggies' - Guns-n-Roses, Poison, etc., but what I'd like this thread to be is all about those aisle 6 bands no one ever heard of that kicked out some great music. All you need to do is post your memories, favorite songs, or favorite bands, and maybe you'll end up giving me and some others a chance to discover something new to us.

I'll start it off: One of the 'entertainers' I worked with back in the 80's really liked a band called 'The Roxx Gang'. IMHO, thier best song was 'Red Rose'.

There was a band named Hollywood. And IIRC, their only hit was the self-titled, Hollywood. I had the cassette, the whole thing was pretty cool.

Yea, I said cassette, do something about it!

They could be early 90's, but Living Colour were a favourite in my lighter moments.

Other than that it was Slayer, Megadeth,Metallica, Nuclear Assault, Anthrax, etc etc

Liked Queen as well of course, favourite track 'Stone Cold Crazy' but 80's must be 'One Vision' :p
