Panthers @ RAMS 2004 playoff game

On the NFL Network right now.

Watch Jason Sehorn miss 2 critical tackles that cost us the game!

Think I'm going to BARF!

Re: Panthers @ RAMS 2004 playoff game

That game was the reason I found ClanRam. After watching Mike Martz stick his tail between his legs and let the clock tick down without even taking a shot at the exhausted, reeling Carolina defense, I was livid and had to find out what other Rams fans were thinking and started searching. I stumbled on the best Rams site in the universe, so I guess I owe Martz a debt of gratitude.

I'm watching it, despite the fact that it's going to bring back BAD memories of screaming at the TV at the top of my lungs to call time out. There were some amusing moments though, like when referee Mike Carey was announcing a penalty on the Rams and said Los Angeles before he corrected himself and changed it to St. Louis. Too funny.

Re: Panthers @ RAMS 2004 playoff game

That was a very emotional game. I was so mad that they put Sehorn in for that game. And mad that Holt was not agressive enough in the end.

It was a good close game though. The win easily could have gone to either team.

I will have to see if I have NFL network now that I am down to the cheap cable package.

The Ravens through all over Jason Sehorn during the Superbowl, and I could never figure out why the Rams picked him up in the first place.

Re: Panthers @ RAMS 2004 playoff game

Jason Sehorn's two missed tackles didn't lead to over 500 total yards for the offensively challenged Panthers- it was lovie smith's lame game plan. He decided to be his usual passive self and not try to get pressure on Delhomme. On the play where Smith beat Sehorn for the winning TD, lovie decided to fake a blitz, which left a nice cushion for Steve Smith to find a seam, left him one on one with Sehorn, put no pressure on Delhomme to get rid of it, and also left the passing lane wide open. Brilliant!!!

"You mean, I should change if the Cover 2 isn't working?"- lovie smith
