Yes. That's why, over time (a lot of time, that is), they develop legs and venture on to land to check out what all the fuss is about these "chickens wings" they've been hearing about.

Excellent point Av, that could be a new theory of evolution, ie Avengerism. Could explain why alligators for example often head onto the beach.
