The Rams Year in Review Through Cartoons!

Thought I'd post a sort of "Year in Review" in cartoons. Enjoy!

With the departure of Mike Martz, everyone started 2006 hot on the new coach search story:

The Rams' hiring of a rookie head coach and a former head coach as a coordinator raised some concerns:

The Rams made a splash in free agency, signing Will Witherspoon, Corey Chavous and L'Roi Glover:

The Rams did not, however, re-sign Adam Archuleta, who was vastly overpaid by Washington:

As the draft approached, some fans wanted the Rams to trade up for Vernon Davis:

Other fans wanted Jay Cutler. I disagreed:

Ultimately, though, draft prognostications are difficult:

On draft day, the Rams traded Brandon Manumaleuna:

Most were happy with the draft, though some had doubts:

All in all, though, optimism was high:

Re: The Rams Year in Review Through Cartoons!

As the season started, some lamented Scott Linehan's controls over media access:

Still, there are always outsiders to hate:

As the season wore on, the defense failed us, and scapegoats emerged:

Steven Jackson emerged as a true star, though some were slow to embrace him:

After a long losing streak, Linehan's support faded, and optimists turned to the dark side:

But, in the end, the Rams kept fighting, hoping to shake those monkeys off their backs:

John Madden actually said that Manny was a good player and that he was a nice blocking tight end to compliment Gates who is a receiving tight end.
