Rep points
Does anyone give rep points anymore? I often do, but have not received any (good or bad) in a long time. I don't know if my posts have gotten that poor or if I am the only one still using them. Just curious on what others are doing.

Re: Rep points
Just so you all know....we have decided that it is not longer Rep points but giving one "some love". And the little goldies are called "love buttons". So if you're in the mood...give that special someone "the love"

Re: Rep points
Thank God you didn't add "Five Dollar".
Yeah, I still use the rep thing. However, it has to be for something that really stands out. I won't give rep for someone being a Rams fan, for instance.
My daughter, Yakira, is a member on here. I've never handed her any rep points. I've only given Mom rep once.
Maybe that makes me stingey. But, maybe it means I am a bunghole....

Re: Rep points
I can't tell anyone what BRM deserves after all this is a family show...........

Yes I still give rep points, but I never give negative rep. If I don't like a post I'll just tell the poster concerned I don't like what they've done.
Rep points are like buses, you don't get any for a greek age and then 20 points arrive post haste.
Neither rhyme nor reason to them.
As for 'thingies' or 'love buttons', I have no clue at all how they work other than the fact that they aren't entirely related to your rep points total.Last edited by Fat Pang; -10-28-2006 at 07:54 AM. Reason: Sangria

Re: Rep points
When I was in Vietnam, I took leave for a little R and R in Hong Kong. I could use another 4 days like that!!!!
Amen....I have never given negative rep (although someone accused me of it once). I've gotten negative rep from a couple of members in the past. Yes, I know, how could anyone give negative rep to someone as lovable as me? Handing out negative rep (except for the Admin and Mods who always make their reasons known) is the coward's way of disagreeing. At least now they can't escape being identified with the new rep reporting system.Yes I still give rep points, but I never give negative rep. If I don't like a post I'll just tell the poster concerned I don't like what they've done.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
