The media and retail outlets have declared the start of the hoiday shopping season. Are you one of the people who rush to the stores on "Black Friday"? Or are you the type who waits until 2:30 P.M. on Christmas eve?
Just a fun little poll to break the long wait before the next game.....
I try to avoid malls all times of the year as their prices are high and they always have filthy restrooms.
I start shopping really early. If I see something I really know someone in my family would like, or even better if that something is on sale, I buy it and save it for Christmas. So usually I am done with all my shopping way before December gets here.
I really have no set plan for my shopping, but I have never gone shopping the day after Thanksgiving. I don't like crowds of people fighting over stuff.
I went ice skating yesterday in an outdoor ring. It was crowded, but it was really nice and festive. There were lots of kids learning how to skate. They let them use buckets to keep themselves up off the ice and a lot of them were getting pushed around by their parents. Skating felt good on my legs. It might actually strengthen my ankles and knees which will be good for soccer.
