shrek 3

i saw shrek 3 this weekend. SOrry for not posting a review sooner, but i have been tied up night and day at work with environmental issues on a real estate project and believe me its not fun.

Shrek 3 was average at best. The story isnt great and the jokes are not even close to the first episode, let alone the second, which i thought was the funniest. If you have a little kid, the kid should like the movie, but from an adult entertainment standpoint, its basically a loser.

I saw it too, and I agree that it didn't measure up to the first two (and, in my opinion, the second one was nowhere near as good as the first).

My kids (ages 10 and 8) loved it, though. There are plenty of laughs for them and a good (albeit rendered with the subtlety of a sledge hammer) message.

My 26 year old son took my 9 year old daugther to Shrek 3.

Reviews:

26 year old: WEAK! Not sure if weak is a response to the movie or the fact that his wallet is now empty after taking his little sister to see it.

9 year old: AWESOME! Especially the hot dog, popcorn, sour patch kids, root beer and gum!
