Sick Days

I work 7:30-4:00 Monday-Friday, and do the occasional OT thing, plus on-call. Today I am stuck at home taking care of Sami. She's running a low fever, and the poor little thing is missing her Valentine's party at school...her very first one. She'll end up staying in bed most of the day, watching cartoons, etc. Since I earn 8.12 hours of paid time off every two weeks, plus I get paid a lot more for staying at home than Mom does, I decided to be a good dad and stay with Sami.
Mom has the house clean, I've read every book in this house that doesn't have Fabio on the cover, daytime TV sucks, etc. This means I need to find something to do while Sami's sleeping.
When you all get stuck doing the "sick day" thing, how do you fill the time (other than posting meaningless threads in the Clan)?

History Channel. I love that stuff. I saw a great one the other day that looked at the Old Testament through the eyes of a military strategist. It was interesting seeing guys like Abraham and Moses as generals.

I haven't taken a sick day in over three years.

Earth viruses don't effect my kind... oops, I've said too much.

I usually watch "Unsolved Mysteries" on Life and then sleep for a little bit and then watch NFL Total Access, and then watch the reruns of ESPNEWS and see if I can memorise them or I watch the Rams vs Cowboys game from this season that I have taped.

If I'm "Sick" I'll probably watch sports networks until I got bored of the same repeats. Eat throughout the whole day, maybe play Madden or Something, and watch A&E.
