One of this artist's albums was purchased by Michael Jackson. He bought over 100 copies to give to his friends because he was so impressed with it. I don't believe this particular song was on that album. He was also in a very cheesy 80's movie that I saw 4 times in the theatre in a 2 day span. Twinkie dogs, anyone?[SIGPIC]http://www.stickershoppe.com/mm5/graphics/00000001/MLRPANCmini.jpg[/SIGPIC]This is for Randy! GO BRM!

Re: Song Lyric Thread
Otay, guys, it's been over a week, so I'll go ahead and identify these two for ya:
1. "Taking time from your busy day, to sit by the tracks and watch the trains roll away."
This, my friends, was Tommy Bolin's "Dreamer"
2. "When are you cosmic cowboys gonna get it through your head?"
This one was Weird Al Yankovic with "I'll Be Mellow When I'm Dead"[SIGPIC]http://www.stickershoppe.com/mm5/graphics/00000001/MLRPANCmini.jpg[/SIGPIC]This is for Randy! GO BRM!

Re: Song Lyric Thread
Now, we're talking MID-70's, sounds like Pete Wolf's freakiness.....I am going with J. Geils Band for the group, but the song escapes me at the moment.

Re: Song Lyric Thread
Mom, what do you know about the mid-70's? You were breathing liquid in-utero during the mid 70's!

Threre's not a whole lot of good stuff out there these days. Can't stand rap, metal went to the can when Nirvana swept the neighborhood. Rock has gotten weird in many cases. If you wanna find good music, you'll find it in the 70's and 80's.[SIGPIC]http://www.stickershoppe.com/mm5/graphics/00000001/MLRPANCmini.jpg[/SIGPIC]This is for Randy! GO BRM!
