Re: Was Superbowl36 fixed?
Welcome to the forums Mustaffa! Its nice to have you here. I hadn't seen that before so thanks for postin it. I woudln't doubt if it was due to 9/11. It definetly looks as if it was.

Re: Was Superbowl36 fixed?
I've seen the site, and yes, it appears to look that way. It's just annoying how you know nobody can do anything about it and hardly anyone would visit that site. It's also annoying how on all these superbowl shows with the top moments of the superbowl, that one's always there. And We're also on some "Super-losers" Site for that game.

Re: Was Superbowl36 fixed?
I do not think SB 36 was fixed, but it was certainly broken.

Re: Was Superbowl36 fixed?
NO IT WAS NOT FIXED!!!
The RAMS of those days were not only known as the GSOT they were also known as the only team who could beat the RAMS.
An overconfident and slightly injured MVP QB had a horrible day by keying too far downfield on Holt and failing to checkdown to open receivers. He also threw two critical interceptions. The Rams beat themselves in SB36.
Of course the non-call on the brady intentional grounding denied the world of the first ever sudden death overtime game in the history of the SB.

And if so, I'm sure the purpose would be to torment small minded individuals.

Re: Was Superbowl36 fixed?
Wasn't fixed, we just lost a football game. Happened to be a big one that's all.
How come we never have these conspiracy conversations when horrible officiating and poor play ruin regular season games?

Re: Was Superbowl36 fixed?
I talk about the bad officiating during regular games and I was pretty pleased to see that the NFL access channel has a weekly segment that discusses the questionable calls with the some top official for the refs. They should be held accountable and this year is the first year that I have seen the ref's performance reviewed.
The thing that gets me about the Patriots and SB36 was that they won their last three games by little points and with lots of help from the officials. I just want to yack when I hear them talk about how symbolic it is that the patriots won at a time when we needed to feel some patriotic pride.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
