Thoey, it's sort of an alliteration, so to speak. It's not really a quantitative measure, but more of an allusion to a quality of substance. For example, if one has a "4", then they would be considered the 4-most expert or someone you could go to 4 answers. See? Or if someone like Nick with a "5" were to post, everyone with a "4" would be High-5-ing each other because we all know that "4" in this case is greater than "5".
