To answer a couple of the original questions, Old Rams Fan was an original member of the decautur stanleys. He is the only known rams fan to have seen at least one game in every year of the squads existence, back to the old afc days in 1936. He was born during the war of 1812, but the exact date is unknown.

Major Ram will meet General counsel this fall on his way from the British Isles to st louis for the bash. He will be stopping over in atlanta assuming we can work out the scheduling with his lovely wife lis and will be treated to a whirlwind 24 hours of fun and frolic rams style (dez knows what i mean). I will providing so much food and grog that major and lis will not know what hit them. There will be no saluting during our meeting, but i am really looking forward to it. I understood what you wrote, that is why I said you were speaking in generalities. You did NOT say that Jason was part of the Iliad, I didn't want anyone to get the impression it was. I figured you only mentioned the Iliad as an example of mythology.

No one was being derided. The "mush" quote is from Kingfisher (Paper Chase)? A person you ascribed to me, which I thought to be quite funny. In fact, that comment was self-depreciating humor, implying that I was being anal, like Kingfisher.
