Sad to say......"The Way We Were" by Barbara Streisand.
Interestingly, tx's birthday song is Beethoven's 5th. Really, the dude is THAT old!"Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

Yikes! My sympathies on your Babs birthday song HUb.
I'm assuming that tx's Beethoven birthday song is the disco version.
"The Battle of New Orleans" by Johnny Horton is mine. I've heard of "The City of New Orleans" by Arlo Guthrie, but the "Battle of New Orleans"?? I'll have to reseaerch this further.

In 1814 we took a little trip
along with Colonel Jackson down the mighty Mississip.
We packed a little bacon and we packed a little beans.
We fought the bloody British in a town called New Orleans......

Which is unfortunate, because I'm really not a fan of John Cougar/Mellencamp/Cougar-Mellencamp.
