What Is The Best Model That You Put Together?

As a teenager, I used to assemble and paint models from World War II. I think my favorite model that I built was a B-24 Liberator.

As an adult, i got into assebling models from the various Star Trek shows. I put together a USS Enterprise=D with around 300 fiber optic strands to produce lighting. It had a battery power-pack.

These days, I make models on NFL players...

What model was your favorite? Post a pic if you have one.

The best model I ever put together was Cindy Crawford (though I did accidentally put a spot of black paint over her lip).

I put together my GI Joe toys as a kid. Does that count?

The way things are going, that is a top post in this thread.

sheesh.. the last model I put together was before any of you were born.....ouch!

That was when kids could buy their own glue and paints.. yes, there WAS such a time..

Nope Alpha, no nomads that I can recall... Hot Rods, airplanes.

Didn't get to do many as with Dad raising 8 kids on a Deputy Sherrif's salary there wasn't a lot to be spared... mostly Christmas or birthday gifts...

I haven't built a model in many years, but I used to build aircraft models, mostly military. My favorite was the 1/72 scale A/C-130 Gunship.

Glow in the dark Frankenstein, Count Dracula and the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Any of you remember that trio?? 1 more and I would have had a real gruesome fearsome foursome.:)
