Re: What category do you fall into?

As a student in my final year, I work part-time in a CD store, and also get a bit of work as a guitar tutor. I love it, but it will have to come to and end when I begin university...which is still a year or so away, as I plan to leave a gap between finishing school and starting uni.

Re: What category do you fall into?

I voted for number three, but I believe that the second option is more accurate. After 25+ years in the military, I am worn out physically and mentally. I have endured numerous years away from home and my family, along with five knee surgeries. I have four months remaining on my current deployment and 15 months until retirement. It is time for the youngsters to step up and take over. I have finally come to the realization that I am just too worn out and miss my family way too much to continue doing this anymore. While I embrace future employment opportunities, I am also worried since this is all that I have ever done my entire adult life. I just don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Whatever the future holds, I do want to be a parent and husband that is home more often and have a more predictable lifestyle.

I hear ya there, SFC! I still have not decided what I want to do although I spent 20 years at my first job, almost 10 at my second before getting my License.

Good luck with your next venture. Wal-Mart can always use another greeter!

Oh, and THANK YOU for your service!:l

Re: What category do you fall into?

I fall into category 2, thus the reason I went back to school. Web design & development is my niche' and that is my dream job, not working in Administration doing accounting.
