Why have we closed down three threads?

I've got a lot of time for Coy, and would like to respond to his last post. Why can't I?

I think we were getting a bit too far off from the purpose of the lounge. I'm kinda glad the threads were closed. I'm thinking that maybe this isn't the forum for what Ramtime started, and where we were going.

I think the lounge is supposed to be a bit more light.

It is my fault.

I closed them down because I think we are loosing real sight to why we are here. I don't want any hard feelings among friends over some very strong personal feelings and issues. A Clan is a family regardless of race, religion or political view points. I my opinion it is a better topic discussed in another type of forum.

The rest of the mod team is discussing how to handle the threads. If you all would like them reopen you can politely ask and speak your concerns. Other wise I say move on and lets talk about something a bit less emotional.

I understand, some things in the present time are better left unsaid.

A different kind of forum would be more appropriate.

Keep them closed.

I am going to re open the threads because I found them interesting.

But

I warn everyone to not make it personal or I will kill the thread.

Jason did the right thing in closing the threads to allow some members to cool down.

Just rember that this is a FORUM = meeting, debate, discussion, round-table.

Its not a place for you to carry out your own personal vendetta and if I think a member is doing that, then they will get the "big red button"

Lets discuss and not get personal.

Dez, didn't you decide at one time to forego the political forum?
The reason I ask is because I like the debates going on, but I really don't want to see a political war in here...discussion, yes, a war, no.
