Hi gang,
Went into surgery earlier than expected due to bleeding into stomach (its absolutely horrifying to throw up blood). So I went in on June 12th for six hours of surgery, and some really great morphine drip afterward. Since they used scopes and lasers for the surgery, it greatly cut down on recovery time. Came home on the 15th. Undergoing targeted radiation therapy to kill any seed cells in vicinity of tumor that was removed. No evidence that the cancer got into the lymph system or traveled through the blood stream. I'm already able to swallow softened solid food (all smooshed up). Wife finally let me get on here to snoop a little (I pulled out the old "but it's Father's Day" excuse).

Things have moved very quickly for you Bigredman.

I am glad to hear that the doctors seem to have the situation under control, and that you are eating that smooshed up food. Please rest and concentrate on getting better.

Speaking of your skirt, if you have my luck, the hair fell out of my legs instead of my head when I was getting radiation. Smooth legs, a skirt...maybe you can accessorize with some matching heels? LOL
