Your last meal...
Scenario: You're on death row for a crime you didn't commit. The time comes for you to choose your final meal. What is on your plate?
ZigZagRam's Final Meal of Choice: Prime Rib (medium rare), Baked Potato, Steamed Broccoli with butter, a bowl of my mother's Chicken and Dumplings, hawaiian rolls. Top it off with a Ted Drewe's banana split. Wash it all down with a big ole glass of whole milk.

Re: Your last meal...
Meg Ryan and Amanda Tapping.
Seriously, a medium rare porterhouse with Jim Beam steak sauce, shrimp scampi, broiled lobster, asparagus with hollondaise sauce, baked potato with lots of real butter and sour cream, pollo mole (it's a Mexican chicken dish made with a chocolate-pepper sauce), a real old-fashioned, sugar sweetened, glass bottled Coca-Cola, and for dessert, Blue Bunny Death by Chocolate ice cream and Boston Cream Pie.
Dang it, now I'm hungry.
The offseason sucks.

Re: Your last meal...
A nice garden salad with a mix of iceberg and romaine lettuce to open things up, followed by a main course consisting of (1) marinated steak kabobs w/ onion and green bell pepper slices, (2) a helping of pasta salad, Italian dressing style, and (3) stuffing, and then some strawberry cheesecake to finish it off.

I'll add a little twist:
A rack of bbq ribs from Corky's in Memphis
A bowl of Chili from The Texas Chili Parlor in Austin
Asparagus made form 360 in Las Vegas
A half of a pound of brisket from Rudy's in Texas
Pumpkin pie from Mom

Re: Your last meal...
Grilled lobster and shrimp scampi with lots of drawn butter. Baked potato with butter, sour cream, parmesan cheese, green onion and real bacon bits. Salad with tons of bleu cheese dressing, gazpacho, garlic cheesey bread, white zin wine (a lot since I’m gonna be a goner anyway) and no dessert thank you, I want to fit into my angel wings. lol

Of course, this meal would have the added benefit of delaying the execution, as the executioner wouldn't want to get too close to you after eating that!

It would be the first documented case of self-inflicted gas chamber execution.

Question? Calories
Hey,
Several of you ordered a diet (Diet Coke) or a light beer (MGD light, Bud light). If you're a goner, why worry about calories!!!! (outside of the fitting into angel wings)?

Thanks TX, but even in my last days, hours, minutes, seconds, I want to watch my girlish "angelic" figure. I'm not a dessert person anyway, so I'd just ask for some more wine.
