Re: '07 Bash Experience
Missed out and on my birthday no less.
I'm going to SD next week to see the Colts Chargers, and although I know I'll have a great time, in SD and the couple of days we go to VEGAS , I still wish I was able to convince the b'ys that we should have came to the Ram Bash. I'm going to try and make it for next year... fingers crossed!

Re: '07 Bash Experience
Yeah it was $600.00. You can stay much cheaper other places but the Drury is RIGHT NEXT to the Dome and it is truly awesome to be in the middle of it all. I was also there 3 nights and had a 2 room suite. Spendy but worth it to me. Hell, I drank 100 dollars worth worth of free drink and snacks alone ;-)

I will plan on being there next year.
One question, though: $600.00 for a room? Was this the Honeymoon Suite?

I don't post so much anymore , but either me and my buddy Dave(tank) show up next year or if I can talk the wife into a football game I'll bring her! sounds like goodtimes and I used to be the Mayor of GOODTIMES. Not the T.V. show either!

My wife and I stayed about 10 miles out of town on the Illinois side a few miles away from a metrolink station. The room was free because of frequent hotel points being used but the 2 queen bed room we got would have been about $80/night as long as it's booked a month or so in advance. I'm sure there are cheaper places to stay too, ours was a Quality inn and Suites. In any case, the metrolink got us into St. Louis in about 17 minutes, was only $2/person/ride and it was rather nice to not worry about parking downtown. I definitely plan on going with that method again, only next time I'll try to be there for more of the weekend rather than just the bash party.

Re: '07 Bash Experience
The ClanRam is working to get block bookings for the Drury Inn for the first home game of the season.
Its $160 a night for a room with 2 beds, I am hoping we get discount on that.
You know, if a lot of single guys are coming, you can room share as well.
More on the block bookings as it develops

Roomies? Did someone mention roomies! You were thinking of me when you said that, weren't you DEZ?
I get my room at the Drury at around $100 with my U.S. Government discount. The Hampton Inn is a spot you might want to check out as well.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn when I was in town for the Lions game last year. I highly recommend this place, close to the Ed, definitely gets 2 thumbs up from me.

Re: '07 Bash Experience
Although I couldn't make the Bash this past season, I highly recommend it. Quite honestly, the hotels should have cheaper packages after the Rams poor season.
