2010 ClanRam Bash Discussion Thread

If I remember correctly, the tickets were $88 apiece and we were in the top of the lower level end zone. Some of us got flashed and didn't have to tip, though. Added value for the dollar?

You're having nighmares??? What about me??? I have the reality that I might run into the boy-chested chick around town. It turns out that her group was the Tulsa Packers Backers.

The magic of plexiglass kept us from also seeing a fight, I think.

Hey Jack, are you sure they weren't the Tulsa Packers Full Frontal Assault Group?? Never a dull moment at a ClanRam Bash! They just keep getting better and better, although a win here and there would be nice. I just hope I can swing it this year.

Unfortunately, the trip. I'm going to do everything I can to make it happen. Too much good stuff to miss out on and too many great friends to not see.

Sam, did you and Tawn hire an armored limo to take you this year?

No, Jack, if we get to go this year it will probably be the same as we did for the "Christmas Gift" game we took the kids to in December. We rented a nice car, left early on Saturday morning, and I watched like crazy for old disoriented drivers going the wrong way.

I'm not sure if we will be able to attend this year, since we now have another little one in the home. On top of that, Tawn quit working to attend school and the loss of income is a little bit more than I expected....I have had to cut back on my favorite hobby, buying guns and Rams collectibles. Tawn has had to lay off her hobby of spending money....sort of. But, if I can find a way for the rugrats to be taken care of, and scrape together extra cash....then we will be there.

I still have to figure out if I can go the first game, or not. If not, I will opt for the Redskins game in Week 3 or the Seahawks game in Week 4.

OK, Jack, here's the way it is: Hide all the sharp cutting objects in your home, look Lynne straight in the eye, and tell her:

"Honey, I know how much you like going to the Eagles home opener, but I have already booked us a hotel and bought the tickets for the Bash! And since it's non-refundable...."

Then duck....or run.

If you survive, then book the hotel and buy the tickets.

FYI,

If you stay Saturday and Sunday night, you can get a pretty good deal at the Lumiere Casino Hotel. It ends up being only about $40 more than staying at the Hampton Inn for the same two nights.

I may just do that.

Oh, and there's a gormet burger place at the Lumiere... pre-game meal location, perhaps?


As for the flashing incident... it was kind of like a 12-year old boy with two mosquito bites (there's 2 seconds of my life I'd like to erase).
